Picture Frame Class: We will be making a picture frame with no miter cutting! It will be finished as a barn siding frame, a little weathered, but I will show you several other ways to dress the frame up a little more. You should be able to complete several frames during the class sessions. All the materials will be provided and the cost is $25. Friday morning
How to Make A 1″ Sofa: The class consists of dressing a 1″ sofa and chair. I will bring a variety of fabric kit choices for you to choose from. You will be able to take home a sofa and chair pieces for you to make another with your fabric. Class is $35 and will take approximately 3-4 hours depending on the class size. Limit 5 each day. Wed. afternoon 4 – 8 or Friday morning 8 – 11:30
¼ Southwest Adobe and Courtyard: This southwest adobe is a great first project in ¼ scale or one to add to your many others. It is sure to give you lots of enjoyment. It goes together quickly because it is so simple a design. You can get to the decorating and landscaping right away and before you know it, it’s done. Kit includes everything you see in picture. The walls are already textured and in the workshop you will make a paper floor look like real tile and a flagstone courtyard out of egg shells. The pieces for the fireplace, hearth, and step shelves will be for you to arrange and texture. Some appropriate landscaping plants will be included.

Bring to workshop: basic tool kit, wood glue, white tacky glue, palette knife to apply spackling, white paint or color of choice for walls, brushes, and stylus.
Fine Tuning Finishes: The students will learn a variety of hands on wood finishing techniques. There will also be the opportunity to practice aging methods on painted surfaces and discover ways to make their miniature work reflect a realistic look of wear and tear. The instructor is known for his aged and worn finishes, he will provide individual instruction to each student as they experience some new ideas and be encouraged to think outside the box. Each student will leave with a finished project, samples of finishes and written support materials. Cost: $65.00, Friday 9-11 am
